Carrie Hawking's financial woes seem to be at an end when she comes across a map leading to buried treasure - but she can’t possibly have prepared for the sordid shenanigans of Long John Silver and his band of scoundrels, not to mention his sister! Medium Joan Silver, the stronger of the siblings who fights tooth and nail for recognition in the male-dominated pirate profession. Can a pair of confused fairies, a group of dockyard urchins, and a talking parrot save the day? Or will the rum run out before we find out?
